Next round of recording begins tomorrow with the talented Mr. Chronis (of Voxtrot, JC & Co, check them out http://vimeo.com/1435309, they’re lovely) acting as producer/engineer. Bass and rhythm guitar are next on the agenda. Really excited to hear these things begin to sound like actual songs (as opposed to Actual Drums).
If you haven’t heard any of our stuff, this is pretty much what I can give you at the moment (above). This was the B side to our first 7” single, released earlier this year. We be jangly.
Oh, and thank you to all of you who voted for us in The Deli’s “Band of the Month” poll, so far we are destroying the competition. I mean, I’m sure the other bands don’t know they are in the running, or care because I only vaguely recall ever having read this blog before, but still, it’s funny because it’s so obvious that someone in the band got drunk and sent it to all his facebook friends. (I did that, it was me, it’s what I do).
