So, in light of my recent eviction scare (yes, my own fault, I know, as was the ‘not finishing school’ thing, but I’m creative dammit and doesn’t that excuse me for being an unmotivated space cadet fuck up? Why won’t these people just GIVE ME TIME TO BLOOM*?) I have done a bit of math. After apt rent, practice space rent, utilities, and late fees, I can make it until Christmas break on my current funds** if I eat 1 egg with 1 tortilla (without cheese or any condiment, I’m out of that) and smoke 1 cigarette each day (admittedly not a necessity, and there will be one day where I can have a can of chili with rice). Also, if I remember to go to my follow up session for the UT psych study I’m participating in, I will have $30 to blow on drinks and similar things across the two odd weeks that friends will be visiting (without dipping into my bag of laundry quarters).

Is donating plasma two times a week a bad idea? With our fifth roommate now here, I may actually be able to almost pay rent just through plasma, until I hear back from these DISH WASHING JOBS. Apparently lots of people do this now, but doesn’t it make you look like a junkie after a while (from all the needles marks)?

Oh, and I was wondering why venues won’t just give me a little money for playing rather than a million drink tickets, and then I realized that it’s because they know damn well that I have to drive home and can’t TAKE SIX SHOTS IN TWO HOURS so they are basically paying us a glass of wine each! Business smarts! Get it?

*Bloom= pay rent, go to class, etc
